Adam Corbin Receives NABCEP Certification

Adam Corbin has received the designation of NABCEP Certified Solar PV Installer.  The North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) PV Installer certification is a voluntary certification that provides a set of national standards by which PV installers can demonstrate that they truly possess the skills and knowledge that their peers and experts have deemed necessary to install and maintain PV systems, and to help ensure the safety, quality and consumer acceptance of PV installations. Certification provides a measure of protection to the public by giving them a credential for judging the competency of practitioners.  Certified professionals have demonstrated their competence in the field and their commitment to upholding high standards of ethical and professional practice.

Corbin, a licensed electrician in both New Jersey and Florida, is responsible for the day-to-day operations and project management of Corbin Solar Solutions and Corbin Electrical Services. He is a graduate, with high honors, from the University of Florida School of Building Construction and sits on the National Electrical Code Committee Code-Making Panel No. 3.

The NABCEP develops and implements quality credentialing and certification programs for practitioners. It is comprised of a volunteer board of renewable energy stakeholder representatives that includes representatives of the solar industry, NABCEP certified installers, renewable energy organizations, state policy makers, educational institutions, and the trades.
